Im in need of some RN feedback please. I have not travel for the last year and a half and just getting back into it. I started an assignment in Las Vegas and on my orientation it was brought to my attention that they do not provide or recommend use of PAPRs for COVID patients on BIPAP and High Flow nasal cannula. What do you think of that? As far as now, every location I worked at with COVID patients we used PAPR for BIPAP and High Flow. Im thinking of buying a PAPR but not sure if I’m overthinking this. Thoughts? Would you feel comfortable with N95 and ice shield for these patients?
