Current assignment was supposed to be 3–12s and then 4–10s but the Friday before my Monday start date, I receive a call that my 4–10s are now 5–8s until further notice. I absolutely despise 5–8s although I did agree to work 2–3 weeks of 8s and then transition to 10s. I looked at the upcoming month’s schedule…all 8 hour shifts. My contract states “a mix of 8s, 10s and 12s” but that obviously is not happening. Managers are stonewalling and not receptive to changing it. Thoughts?
