How does everyone go about Benefits? Wanting to move to travel but worried about that! Is it worth it to get private insurance or does everyone go with the company they sign with? Just don’t want to have crummy benefits I still cover my son. If people do private pay, anybody have any good leads? I reached out to a couple, private people and gotten no response, I’m in Ohio if that matters. Thanks in advance!
I am looking into travel nursing. My current FT job I don’t make enough. I have a second job that makes up for the money lost from my FT one. I have 1.5 years nursing experience ranging from urgent care, doctor office, and nursing home settings. are there any agencies that allow you to work in other places besides a nursing home? Also, one of the things I’m worried about is my health insurance. I need it lol. How does everyone go about that? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am nervous to even consider this, but it is something I have wanted to do for a while now. Thank you for any input
Anyone ever heard of Jackson Nurse Professionals Travel Agency?
I was surprised to see my stipend and per diem reflected as income on my W2. Is this correct?
What companies have y’all used filing taxes ?
Has anyone ever been to Tacoma General? Considering assignment… (Med/Surg)

How do you get out of a contract ? I’ve been in this assignment for only a week and hate it! There’s no organization or communication from the office staff. It’s a home health position
Odd question but with travel nursing are pay rates and stipends supposed to be kept confidential? Only asking because some travelers are so tight lipped and others are so upfront. Is it agency specific an actual policy or just personality specific.
Question! My specialty is ER, but there aren’t any available contracts in the area I’m looking at, so I’m thinking of picking up a MedSurg or Tele one. Has anyone had experience doing this? Thanks!
