High Paying Travel Nursing Jobs

Hello seasoned travelers. I’m thinking of taking my first contract but I want to make sure 1) I’m not getting shafted, and 2) I’m asking for the right things. Here’s my list: -unit must be listed (no floating) -block scheduling -No psych pts -max ratio (ER RN) -hrly rate (taxed) — if taxed, should it be low? If so, how low (ballpark), eg. $25–40/h)) -OT after 36h (taxed) -wkly stipend at least $2300 (tax free) -wkly meal and housing stipend (tax free) -parking reimbursement (tax free) -scrub reimbursement (tax free) Am I missing anything? Please add other things I should ask for. Thanks!

Some of the same questions are asked and the answer is already there. If the agency or the hospital has not corrected the issue after the second/ third reminder then leave! Staying your only setting yourself up for failure. Stop requesting staff privileges while being a traveler. Go to work, take care of your patients as best you can, get the money and move on. HCA is bad this has been reported by millions of nurses!

So I am having issues with this contract I am on. First, they told me I would be paid weekly and I am getting paid biweekly. Also, I requested days off with my recruiter before accepting the contract. The nurse manager has scheduled me for a weekend I need off. My nurse manager said that my contract doesn’t show any RTO. I have brought this up to my recruiter multiple times with no fix! At this point, I just want to cancel this contract. What are cons of cancelling in the middle of a contract? I will never work for this agency again.
